Gerald

Gerald was born and raised in Picayune, Mississippi, the son of Eldridge (Shag) and Ethel Patch.  He graduated from Picayune Memorial High School in 1971 and then Mississippi State University where he received his degree in Business Management in 1975.  Gerald then graduated from the University Of Mississippi School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1978.

Since graduation from law school, Gerald has practiced law in both Mississippi and Florida.  He practiced in Titusville, Florida with the law firm of Cianfrogna, Telfer & Reda, P.A., for nearly a decade. He handled all of the firm’s family law cases, successfully maintaining an active case load of at least 125 cases involving contested divorces, as well as contested child custody, child support, and alimony modifications.

A large part of Gerald’s current practice involves contested and uncontested divorces and other family law matters.  He handles real estate closings as well as contested real estate litigation.  He has represented the Picayune School District since 2004, represented Coast Electric Power Association since 2005, and served as City Prosecutor for the City of Picayune since 2004.

Gerald is an aggressive attorney who is not afraid to go to trial to get the justice he feels his client deserves, and has done so many times over the years.

During the time Gerald has practiced in Picayune he has been very active in the community, having served on the City Council as the Councilman for the 3rd Precinct in the City of Picayune, served on the Board of Directors for the Picayune Chamber of Commerce, and as a founding member of the local Kiwanis Club.  He and his wife, Tommie, are members of the First Baptist Church of Picayune.
